Why choose us

Accounting done properly.

An accountant who knows you and your business. You get direct access to someone who understands your situation and gives you straightforward, honest advice when you need it. No call centres, no being passed between departments, no starting from scratch every time you call.

About us

Trusted since 2002.

Accountancy Solutions was founded in 2002 with a clear ethos of wanting to do things better. Having spent many years working in both small and large accountancy firms, I saw first hand what worked - and more importantly, what didn't. Too often, clients are made to feel like just another file on someone's desk, just another number lost in a sea of numbers.

We're not a volume practice. We're focused on building relationships for the long term — many of the clients I started out with are still with me and the fact that most new clients come through referrals tells me we're doing something right. With us you deal with one consistent point of contact who knows you and knows your business — not a different voice every time you call.

Our approach is practical — built on actually doing the work, not managing at arm's length, which shapes the way we work with clients today. We're pragmatic and proactive, and we don't apply a one-size-fits-all approach. We understand that every client is different, we take the time to understand what you need, and we will work flexibly around what works for you instead of pushing you to follow a process-driven approach that works for us.

What we stand for

  • 01

    Straight talking

We explain things in plain English. No jargon, no hiding behind technical language — just clear, honest advice.

  • 02

    Genuine expertise

Over 25 years of practice means we've seen it all. We bring that experience to every client, however simple or complex the situation.

  • 03

    Proactive, not reactive

We don't wait for you to ask. If there's something worth flagging — a deadline, a saving, a change in the rules — we'll be in touch.

  • 04

    Fees agreed upfront

Our fees are agreed upfront and set out clearly before we start so you know what to expect with no hidden surprises.
